The IT Service Desk Engineer acts as the first point of contact for users, managing incidents and service requests through accurate logging and troubleshooting. They are responsible for monitoring ticket progress, escalating issues to second-line support, and ensuring all tasks are resolved within agreed service level agreements.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in an IT and call center environment, along with a Grade 12 certificate. Proficiency in computer hardware, software, and Google Suite products is required, complemented by strong communication and problem-solving skills.
