Operations Manager – Production & Warehouse | Lean & Continuous Improvement

Do you have passion for production, people, and continuous improvement?

At BouMatic, we are looking for a committed and proactive Operations Manager – Production & Warehouse who will take overall responsibility for production and warehouse operations at our factory in Skjern.

You will become a key member of the Danish organization and play an important role in the continued development of our operations. Together with your team leaders and employees, you will ensure a safe, stable, and efficient production environment with a strong focus on quality, delivery performance, and continuous improvement.

We are not simply looking for an Operations manager who can keep production running. We are looking for a leader who is motivated by developing people, creating structure, optimizing processes, and building on a strong culture of continuous improvement.

You will have significant influence on daily operations and become a close sparring partner for the Managing Director in the work of developing the organization and delivering results that support BouMatic’s continued growth.

About the position

As Operations Manager – Production & Warehouse, you will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of production and warehouse activities.

You will lead team leaders and employees and play a central role in both daily operations and the long-term development of the factory.

You will report directly to the Managing Director in Denmark and work closely with functions such as Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain – both locally and internationally.

You will take over an important role within the organization, where you will ensure efficient operations while also contributing to the continued development of how we work.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing production and warehouse operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity

• Creating strong daily operations through clear goals, structure, and follow-up

• Developing and motivating team leaders and employees through visible and engaged leadership

• Optimizing production flow, capacity, and material flow

• Actively working with Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Following up on KPIs and ensuring a data-driven approach to improvement

• Identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and better utilization of resources

• Ensuring close collaboration across the organization

• Driving improvement projects that create value for employees, customers, and the business

We imagine that you...

You have a relevant technical or production-related education – for example as a Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Bachelor of Engineering, Marine Engineer, or Production Technologist.

Alternatively, you have built a strong practical background combined with experience from a leadership role in a manufacturing company.

You thrive by being close to operations and your employees. You create results through others and are motivated by developing both people and processes.

Furthermore, we would like you to:

• Have practical experience working with Lean and continuous improvement

• Work in a structured and analytical manner with focus on KPIs and results

• Have experience with production planning and ERP systems

• Communicate clearly and naturally across the organization

• Be fluent in both Danish and English at a professional level
