The therapist will provide clinical services and therapy to youth and families referred by the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division. They will work collaboratively with Family Guidance Centers and other providers to support youth in various programs.
Candidates must have a Master's degree in a related field and at least one year of clinical supervision. A valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and CAMHD credentialing are also required.

Since 1970, Hale Kipa has championed Hawai'i's youth and children. We provide youth outreach, independent living facilities, therapeutic foster care, a haven for runaways, and more. Our founders recognized a need for a nonprofit to step in to assist this deserving population and we are still doing that critical work today, on O'ahu, Kaua'i, Maui, and the Island of Hawai'i. Hale Kipa is seeking dedicated Therapists to provide therapy and clinical services to youth and families referred by the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division. As a Therapist, you may be involved in various programs such as Intensive In-Home, Intensive Independent Living Skills, or Transitional Family Home Programs. This role will be primarily serving the Kauai community, working collaboratively with the Family Guidance Centers and all other providers engaged with the youth.
The position calls for strong time management skills, effective verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in navigating an electronic health record system. The ability to submit documentation promptly is also essential.

Hale Kipa has served more than 74,000 youth since its beginning in 1970 as a single group home on Oahu, and today helps more than 2,000 youth and families each year through its 21 locations on Oahu, Maui, the Island of Hawaii, and Kauai. Hale Kipa provides services at no cost, making it entirely dependent on public and private sources for funding.
