The Radiology Intake Representative manages the flow of patient data, including scheduling, registration, and insurance authorization for imaging studies. They serve as the primary communication link between patients, providers, and technical staff to ensure efficient procedure completion.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite and strong communication skills. Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

The Radiology Intake Representative is responsible for the flow of Radiology patient data from appointment scheduling, authorization, and registration. This includes but is not limited to the review of physician orders, diagnosis and reimbursement requirements through patient and physician contracts. This position also functions as the primary conduit of communication with both providers and patients.
