The associate manages the receipt and processing of donations, including sorting, pricing, and staging merchandise on the sales floor. They also serve as the primary point of contact for donors and shoppers while providing cashier coverage.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency with basic technology and strong communication skills are required, while retail and building materials knowledge are preferred.

Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates decent houses with the help of partner families. Habitat homes are sold to partner families at no profit, financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners' monthly mortgage payments are used to build more Habitat houses.
