Supervise a team of Security Officers to ensure the protection of company assets and the safety of guests and employees. Maintain order on the gaming floor while ensuring compliance with AGCO regulations and other applicable laws.
Requires a post-secondary diploma in Law and Security or a related field and at least one year of supervisory experience. Must possess First Aid/CPR and Non-Violent Intervention certifications and be able to obtain AGCO Category 1 registration.
Under the general direction of Security Shift Manager & Security Manager or designate, this position will supervise a team of Security Officers in a shift work environment, fostering a safe and efficient work environment, while maintaining an open-door policy. You will be accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and development. You will be responsible for the protection of company assets and the reporting and arrest of criminals, ensuring the maintenance of peace and order for guests and fellow employees. You will provide first aid and medical attention as required. Your strong presence on the gaming floor will be vital to your management of people and interacting with customers, while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and other applicable laws, policies and regulations.
