| Key Accountabilities: â¢Formulation of Strategy and planning for coal Logistics, procurement through various modes like FSA, E-Auction, Imported Coal and open market to meet the Business Plan Targets. â¢Review the coal AOP plans prepared by the planning team. â¢Participation and procurement of coal Under E-auction (Spot & All Shakti) â¢Financial Proposals for coal procurement & Quality estimation â¢Review parity sheets to evaluate landed cost of alternate grades of coal. â¢Preparation of Monthly MIS and MRM data. â¢Review & assist in awarding of contracts relating to transportation, open market, AMM & Handling. â¢GRN processing and Reconciliation of Coal Quantity & Quality with vendors. â¢Clearing of GRIR and open items dump of Coal Companies, Railways and Vendors. â¢Liasioning with CIL Susidiaries for planning, procurement, Coal materialization, quality and reconciliation â¢Liasioning with Railways for rake movement and Waivar of Demurrage Charges. â¢Finalize on the sourcing of coal from the respective geographies. â¢Finalize on the pricing benchmarks for coal procurement by geography Oversee physical coal procurement process. â¢Supervise Operation of coal movement by Rail, Road. â¢Rake loading and movement of import coal at Port. â¢Review and assist actual dealing activities for coal Logistics â¢Preparation of RFQ/tender document, inviting offers, bid evaluation & preparation of price comparison chart. â¢Formulation of Standard Operating Procedure for procurement, logistics activities & circulation to all team members. â¢Network with suppliers & negotiate term contracts with suppliers. â¢Implement risk management processes and systems. â¢Oversee execution of the Risk Committee mandates. â¢Implement processes and a limit framework to monitor activities on an ongoing basis. â¢Implement performance management and reporting systems and MIS Standardize processes. â¢Monitoring and control of the Fuel (Coal) Management Activities to achieve fuel availability at optimum cost and as per scheduled generation plans. â¢Monitoring and controlling turnaround time of orders & dispatches and Just-in-time (JIT) inventories in the port /warehouses/mines. |
