You will be responsible for delivery of highly complex, large scale and international HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) tenders (contracts >700MUSD). In addition, you may also manage few small to medium size tenders as a support to project team (variation order on existing contracts, etc.) or business development team (pre-qualification, etc.).

Roles and Responsibilities
Develop HVDC proposals for APAC region; may negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Build and manage tender schedule, lead tender reviews, monitor and report on tender progress. Identify and report any issue or deviation to bidding strategy in a clear and anticipated manner. Propose mitigation actions based on experience and implement corrective actions.
Build up the cost estimate, ensure all costs are properly validated and adequate risks provisions are considered for projects. Establish a realistic target cost at early stage of the tender
Ensure adherence to tendering procedures and tools, all relevant tender approvals and gates should be obtained and recorded in a timely manner. Also, ensure that all comments received during the Tender Approvals are recorded and addressed before submitting the proposal.
Quality - Report or resolve non-conformances and process in a timely manner - Comply with GE Vernova quality procedures and processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or proven experience of equivalent level.
At least 10+ years of experience in successful management of complex tenders (or project) of medium to large scale, including sound understanding of commercial management and contract terms.
