The Wiring Technician is responsible for reading electrical schematics to assemble cabinets and install components. They perform point-to-point wiring, cut and form cables, and ensure all work meets quality control standards.
Candidates must have the ability to interpret electrical drawings and possess some experience in wiring or motor control. High reliability and the flexibility to work weekends as needed are required.
Ability to read electrical schematics/drawings for electrical installations according to wiring specifications. AC/DC
Cuts, strips, bends, and forms wire cable, conduit pope, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies.
Installation of components to build the cabinet
Point to point wiring and using crimps connectors to wire ends
Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
Performs assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures to ensure the output will meet QC and customer standards.
Quality and neatness of work are essential
Flexibility to learn and work within several different wiring functions/stations
High reliability
Flexible and able to work weekends when business need dictates
