Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Lead Analyst - Process Analytics - Actuarial
Responsibilities:
- Syndicate & Technical Accounting manage & review accounting entries for syndicates premiums claims and reinsurance transactions in line with Lloyds and insurance accounting standards
- Fund Accounting & Ledger Management manage & provide oversight on fund movements investment accounting and related reconciliations ensuring accuracy across general and sub-ledgers
- Reserving & Reconciliations Perform & review reserve calculations prepare reconciliations between actuarial and accounting data and ensure integrity of reported reserves
- Month-End Close & Reporting Execute & provide oversight to close activities including journal entries trial balance review variance analysis and preparation of management reports
- Regulatory & Compliance support ensure adherence to IFRS 17 Solvency II and Lloyds reporting requirements;
- maintain robust audit trails and documentation
- Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with actuarial underwriting and FP&A teams to ensure data accuracy timely reporting and issue resolution
- Continuous Improvement & Controls Strengthen process controls identify automation opportunities and drive consistency and efficiency across insurance accounting operations
- Process Governance & Oversight lead end-to-end RTR operations including Technical Accounting Month-End Close and Reconciliations ensuring compliance timeliness and accuracy
- Quality Assurance & Controls Establish and monitor strong control frameworks review key deliverables and ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and internal policies
- Governance & Reporting Drive structured governance through regular reviews dashboards and performance metrics to ensure transparency and control across the RTR value chain
