Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to lead and manage our Quality Control Program. The QCM is responsible for ensuring that all operations, maintenance, repair, inspection, and construction activities are performed in accordance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations. This position provides independent oversight of company and subcontractor performance, conducts inspections, monitors quality metrics, verifies corrective actions, and supports continuous readiness for regulatory inspections and accreditation surveys.

The Quality Control Manager serves as a dedicated, stand-alone position reporting directly to senior contract management and plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance across all supported healthcare facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Control Program in accordance with contract requirements.
• Monitor company performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of operations, maintenance, repair, and construction activities.
• Verify compliance with preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), emergency service work, and repair project requirements.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and verify the quality of services provided.
• Identify, document, and track deficiencies through resolution and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Analyze quality trends and recommend process improvements to enhance operational performance.
• Maintain complete and accurate quality control records, inspection reports, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare quality reports, metrics, and documentation for management and government review.
• Provide quality-related guidance and remedial training to personnel as needed.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and compliance with industry best practices.
• Support ongoing readiness for inspections, audits, and healthcare accreditation reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of quality management objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of quality control experience in healthcare facilities.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in comparable healthcare environments.
• Experience performing quality inspections, documenting findings, and preparing quality reports.
• Working knowledge of healthcare facility maintenance operations and quality management principles.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission quality standards and healthcare compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity while performing quality oversight.
• Must be available to work onsite during normal business hours.
• This position must function as a dedicated stand-alone role and may not be combined with other operational or management duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting two or more Joint Commission hospital accreditation surveys.
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
• Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
• Experience supporting federal or government healthcare facility contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk throughout healthcare facilities to conduct inspections.
• Ability to access maintenance, mechanical, and construction work areas safely.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to inspect work areas, equipment, and documentation with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in healthcare facilities, maintenance shops, construction areas, and office settings.
• Frequent interaction with management, maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and government representatives.
• Exposure to active maintenance and construction environments while conducting inspections.
• Occasional extended hours may be required to support inspections, audits, or operational requirements.

Special Requirements

• Must successfully pass all required federal, state, or local government background investigations.
• Must maintain all required security clearances or installation access, if applicable.
• Must maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and independence while performing quality oversight responsibilities.
