Role & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support our finance team across a broad range of tasks, including reconciliations, cost controlling, and variance analyses. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a hands-on part in our ERP implementation (Microsoft Business Central) and take ownership of intercompany invoicing and inventory controlling, primarily for Frey Australia. At Frey, we are already well underway with integrating AI into our workflows, and this role sits right at the center of that journey within finance.
Main responsibilities:
Support the development and roll-out of AI and automation tools that reduce manual financial tasks.
Drive cost controlling and cost allocation across the group entities.
Prepare monthly analyses and reconciliations – including balance-sheet accounts, intercompany balances, and bank reconciliations.
Handle intercompany invoicing and assist with inventory controlling for Frey Australia.
Help maintain and improve Microsoft Business Central through testing and processing documentation.
Act as back-up on accounts receivable and accounts payable and assist with annual audit preparations
Expected skills & Experience:
As our Finance Coordinator, you will be part of an international culture with colleagues and stakeholders around the world. Whereof, we expect you to be comfortable communicating both in written and verbal English. Furthermore, we expect that you:
Have 2-4 years of experience in a finance role such as financial controlling, accounting or finance coordination - recent graduates with relevant internship or student work are also considered.
A genuine interest in applying AI and automation to streamline financial processes.
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to reconciliations and cost controlling.
Solid understanding of accounting principles.
Experience with Microsoft Business Central or a similar ERP system is a plus.
You are structured, curious, and comfortable working independently – gradually owning your tasks with limited supervision. You communicate clearly across the organization and are motivated by finding smarter, more efficient ways to get things done.
