Job Summary

We are hiring a Full Time Relational Security Officers to join our team in Surrey, B.C. 

 

As a Relational Security Officer, you’ll do more than maintain safety, you’ll help create a calm, respectful health care environment where patients, staff, and visitors feel protected and supported. Working alongside clinical teams, you’ll use communication, awareness, and non-violent interventions to prevent risk, respond to emergencies, and build trust every day. Detailed Overview

Reporting to the Coordinator, Relational Security, IPS Operations, the Relational Security Officer maintains and enforces security of persons and property in accordance with established policies and procedures.

ResponsibilitiesQualifications

Education, Training & Experience

 

Current BC Security Guard License, Certification of Training Completion in Advanced Security Training. One year's recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current, valid B.C. Class 5 vehicle licence and access to a vehicle for business-related purposes.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Ability to organize work.
