Job Description

Food Express, Inc. is a family owned and operated trucking company looking for a full-time responsible Administrative Assistant to assist the operations team with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. 

Duties of the Administrative Assistant may include the following:

• Answer incoming calls
• Sort daily paperwork 
• Manage all billing aspects to include – Processing, scanning, imaging and ensure billing is completed daily
• Data entry
• Payroll
• Railcar Inventory Management 
• Other tasks as assigned by management
• Team-orientated and self-motivating 

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Team-orientated and self motivating
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers 
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• High School Degree: additional qualifications as an administrative assistant will be a plus

Requirements:

• Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-Time / Monday – Friday 

Pay: $23.00 / Hour
