Responsible for safely securing customer freight on trains and ensuring availability for pickup at intermodal terminals. Duties include operating lift machines, utility tractors, and performing clerical data entry via Microsoft Office.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of related experience. Candidates must pass a background check, medical exam, and drug test while meeting specific physical agility and vision requirements.
Intermodal Service Employees (ISE) are responsible for safely performing activities and completing processes that place customer freight for movement on a train from the origin to the FEC Intermodal Terminal destination across our network. The ISEs will also be responsible for ensuring the availability of our customers’ freight for pick up after arriving at the destination terminal.
IMEX will provide a combination of paid classroom and on-the-job training.
At this time, this position is eligible for a signing bonus of $3,000 paid in installments after 180 and 365 days.and a year of employment. This bonus program is subject to the terms of company policy; please contact your recruiter for more information.
