Plan and deliver diversional therapy programs and social events to support the independence and wellbeing of aged care residents and people with disabilities. Maintain accurate participation records in accordance with SA Health standards.
Requires a completed AQF Certificate III in Community Services, Aged Care, Diversional Therapy, or a relevant equivalent. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in planning activities for older persons or people with disabilities.
Overview
At Streaky Bay Multi-Purpose Service, the wellbeing of older residents goes well beyond clinical care. This is a rewarding opportunity to bring creativity, connection, and purpose to the daily lives of residents at the Streaky Bay Senior Citizens Village - through a part-time, temporary contract role running until 11 December 2026.

Accountable to the Executive Officer/Director of Nursing through the Nurse Unit Manager Aged Care, you will plan and deliver diversional therapy programs that support independence, self-esteem, and social connection for aged care residents and people with disabilities.
