  • RN/M1 - $77,824.00 to $106,187.00 p.a. (adjusted according to hours worked)
  • RN/M2C - $90,913.00 to $114,917.00 p.a. (adjusted according to hours worked)
• Permanent, Part Time working 32 hours per week 

This position is multi‑classed as either RN/M1 or RN/M2C and the appointment classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? 

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Midwife to join our dedicated team within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing and midwifery care in a collaborative clinical environment. You will assess patient needs, plan and coordinate care, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external services to ensure safe and effective outcomes. With increasing autonomy, you’ll manage care across each shift while partnering with Aboriginal Maternal Infant Care workers to support culturally safe care for women, babies and families. 

You’ll also contribute to the day-to-day leadership and continuous improvement of the service. This includes stepping into shift coordination, supporting and guiding less experienced staff and students, and applying evidence-based practice in your work. Midwifery Group Practice working in a small team of 3 midwives to service Gawler birthing women in a MGP model.  35% caseload midwifery allowance applies as on call requirements

• Assess patient and client needs, and plan, deliver and coordinate person-centred nursing and midwifery care
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure safe, timely care delivery 
• Provide culturally safe care in partnership with Aboriginal Maternal Infant Care workers, supporting women, babies and families
• Undertake shift coordination and support team members to ensure effective day-to-day service delivery
• Contribute to quality improvement, education and evidence-based practice to strengthen patient outcomes and service standards
