JOB OVERVIEW
|

|
Reporting to the Director of Digital Transformation and Implementations, the Manager of Digital Transformation and Implementations is responsible for managing the Digital Transformation and Implementations Department (ETD) and overseeing the design, implementation, and support of financial ERP and reporting solutions. In collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, the role drives the modernization of financial systems, enhances operational efficiency, and supports data-driven decision-making across organizations supported by Exchange Technology Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
|

|
- Manage and oversee ETD, ensuring the successful delivery and ongoing support of financial ERP, financial reporting, and related business solutions.
- Establish priorities, allocate resources, and manage team capacity to support implementation projects, operational support requirements, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide oversight for the planning, design, implementation, and optimization of financial ERP and reporting platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and business requirements.
- Collaborate with business leaders, finance stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and technology teams to develop and execute digital transformation strategies.
- Ensure solution architecture, implementation methodologies, and support processes adhere to established standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
- Oversee the delivery of financial ERP modernization initiatives, system upgrades, integrations, data migrations, and financial reporting solutions across multiple business units.
- Monitor project and operational performance, including scope, timelines, risks, resource utilization, service levels, and overall solution quality.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve reporting capabilities, and enhance data-driven decision-making through technology-enabled solutions.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, professional development, and succession planning for ETD.
- Contribute to departmental planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives in support of organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
|
|
|
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
|
|
|
|

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, information technology, computer science, or a related field. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing, supporting, or managing financial ERP or financial reporting solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with technical, functional, or solution delivery teams.
- Experience leading financial ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and business transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with financial ERP solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar solutions.
- Experience supporting financial reporting, business intelligence, corporate performance management, or consolidation platforms is considered an asset.
- Project management experience and familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies is preferred.

- CPA or other relevant accounting or finance certifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
- Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, or related Microsoft certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

- Strong understanding of financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, and consolidations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial ERP implementation lifecycles, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, systems integration, data migration, and enterprise application support
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, resources, budgets, risks, and project timelines.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology initiatives to organizational goals and operational objectives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with executives, business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Power BI, SQL Server, and related business applications.
