The apprentice will assist RNs, physicians, and other providers with direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. They will perform identified clinical procedures once competencies have been demonstrated under the guidance of a preceptor.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be enrolled in the In-Clinic Assistant Training Apprenticeship Program. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required or must be obtained within three months of hire.
