The Equipment and Service Sales Representative will be responsible for direct sales of commercial coffee equipment, technical service, and service contracts in the assigned territory. This position reports directly to the Equipment Sales Director, working to achieve annual growth goals and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate would have a background working in specialty coffee, a proven track record of success in sales, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Sell coffee equipment, technical service, and service agreements through walk-in, inbound, outbound, wholesale, and commercial sales channels.
Assist customers with selecting equipment based on their operational needs, budget, volume, and service requirements.
Generate new business through outbound prospecting, inbound lead conversion, referrals, and development of new sales channels.
Re-engage current, former, and prospective wholesale roasters within the market to develop equipment, referral, and service partnerships.
Manage an assigned portfolio of customers with active service agreements, including regular account follow-up, issue resolution, renewals, and identification of additional sales opportunities.
Conduct after-sales follow-up with equipment customers and promote preventive maintenance plans, technical service, and service contracts.
Maintain current knowledge of multiple equipment brands and develop tailored solutions for customers.
Prepare professional proposals and quotations, communicate terms clearly, and monitor quote expiration dates.
Maintain an active sales pipeline, prioritize opportunities based on revenue and profitability, and work toward established annual sales goals.
Provide monthly sales pipeline, account activity, and forecast reports to management.
Coordinate with service, operations, purchasing, and accounting teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer support.
Monitor accounts receivable for assigned customers and assist with timely collection of outstanding balances.
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured

Experience leveraging CRM tools to manage pipelines and drive sales is highly preferred. Previous experience using NetSuite is a plus.
Position Benefits
Starting salary of $45,000- $55,000 based on experience, plus commission.
