This role is open to anyone located in Brisbane/Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast! We're in Melbourne, Bendigo, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Auckland, Wellington, Tokyo and Bali.

The role: The Business Development Manager (Client Engagement Manager) will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients through cross-selling and upselling. The focus will be on building strong relationships with key clients and partnering with them to solve business problems and improve their operations by leveraging Microsoft technology and the range of services offered by Engage Squared. Must be dedicated to pursuing a career in sales and highly motivated to becoming a sales leader.

What you'll do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Understand clients' business needs and challenges, and provide tailored solutions using Microsoft technology and Engage Squared services.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and drive client satisfaction.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline and manage the sales cycle from identification to deal closure.
  • Articulate solutions effectively and communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to provide clients with innovative solutions.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in business development/account management, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft technology and its applications in solving business problems. (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly energetic and a go-getter with a hunter mentality.
  • Ability to build and manage a sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
