Product Owner (Marketplace Team)

  

The Marketplace Seller Experience team builds the products that power one of the largest seller ecosystems in CEE, across RO, BG, HU and PL. Our scope spans the full seller lifecycle: acquisition and onboarding, regulatory and financial compliance, day-to-day operations (orders, listings, returns, payouts, commissions), account health and performance, support and self-service, and the AI layer that increasingly powers all of these flows. We work across web, mobile and API, with tens of thousands of sellers ranging from strategic accounts to long-tail merchants, and we operate as a single platform that has to scale across multiple markets and regulatory contexts.

What you’ll have to do:

• Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of marketplace products, with scope that can evolve over time as the business needs shift.
• Initial focus areas may include seller acquisition and onboarding, regulatory and financial compliance (KYC, KYB, reboarding), seller profiles and registries, T&C, commission rules and seller ratings, with room to expand into adjacent marketplace domains.
• Define and continuously optimize the key funnels and operating flows in your area, with clear ownership over conversion, time to value, adoption and quality KPIs.
• Lead complex, cross-functional workstreams that touch Product, Engineering, Design, Legal, Finance, Risk, Commercial and Customer Care, balancing scalability, operational feasibility and regulatory constraints.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into PRDs, epics and user stories, and partner with Engineering and Design to deliver them across web, mobile and internal tooling.
• Set the KPI framework for your product area and drive the team toward measurable outcomes (activation, conversion, deflection, time to resolution, adoption, GMV impact).
• Identify and remove friction across the seller journey, using data, qualitative research and operational signals to prioritize what matters most.
• Represent your product area in leadership reviews, with clear narratives on progress, risks and tradeoffs.

What makes you a good fit:

• 6+ years of product experience, with at least 3 years in a senior product owner or product manager role on complex, multi-stakeholder products.
• Proven track record of owning end-to-end flows in operationally or regulatorily complex environments (marketplace, fintech, payments, telco, banking, SaaS at scale).
• Data-driven approach to decision making; comfortable defining KPIs, reading funnels and using analytics tools to validate hypotheses.
• Strong systems thinking, able to see how product decisions in one area ripple across onboarding, operations, support and finance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align Product, Engineering, Operations, Commercial and Compliance around shared outcomes.
• Clear writing and structured thinking; able to produce PRDs and executive updates that drive decisions, not just describe them.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities, while keeping the team focused on what moves the needle.

What makes you stand out:

• Direct experience with marketplace or platform businesses at scale (tens of thousands of users, multi-country footprint).
• Background in regulated product areas such as KYC, KYB, financial onboarding, payments or AML.
• Experience integrating AI or automation into operational and customer-facing flows (document parsing, conversational assistants, automated decisioning, self-service).
• Exposure to multi-market product delivery across CEE and the ability to balance local nuances with a unified product approach.
• Track record of taking over an existing product area and raising its bar, not just shipping new features.
