The Tower Coordinator is responsible for servicing production needs by cycling materials and maintaining organized part storage racks. They also manage shipping documentation, coordinate emergency shipments, and interface with various departments and transportation providers.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with AS400, Vista, and forklift certification is preferred, along with the ability to operate heavy equipment and lift up to 35 pounds.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High school diploma or G.E.D from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications
• Fork Truck Certified with 3 or more years of experience
• Previous experience with AS400 and vista
• Previous Shipping experience
• High level knowledge in shipment tracking systems (LTL, Parcel, Transplace)
• Require strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong persuasive skills with Driver interaction on delayed shipments
• Must be able to drive and operate heavy equipment to include 35K rated PIV
• Expert skills in loading Flatbed, Conestoga and Dry Van including crane, side loading and nose to rear weight distribution and tarping
• Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
• Ability to climb ladders
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification
• Computer skills – AS400, Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
• Proven history of safe work habits
• Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
