Coordinate the end-to-end movement of goods including freight forwarding, dispatching, and warehousing to ensure timely delivery. Manage shipping and receiving operations while collaborating with carriers and suppliers to optimize supply chain costs and efficiency.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding. Must have direct experience as a freight broker specializing in flatbed, dry van, and ground expedite shipments.

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers across domestic and international locations. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of logistics operations, including freight forwarding, dispatching, warehousing, and shipping activities. The successful candidate will work closely with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to optimize supply chain processes and maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory. By managing purchase orders and overseeing shipping and receiving functions, the Logistics Coordinator helps minimize delays and reduce costs while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Ultimately, this role ensures that products are delivered on time, in good condition, and in alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.
Experience in flatbed, dry van, ground expedite.
This person needs to have direct experience working with the potential customer on:
Securing a load opportunity
Finding a qualified carrier
Negotiating the rate for the customer and driving a low rate to the carrier.
The required skills such as logistics management, freight forwarding, and warehouse management are applied daily to coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with shipping regulations. Dispatching skills enable the candidate to schedule and track deliveries efficiently, minimizing delays and optimizing routes. Expertise in international logistics and shipping is essential for handling cross-border shipments and customs requirements accurately. Managing purchase orders and shipping and receiving processes requires attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to maintain accurate records and support smooth operations. Preferred skills like certification and experience with advanced logistics software enhance the ability to analyze data, improve processes, and contribute to strategic supply chain initiatives.
