The Maps Program Lead helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities set and achieve goals for independent living, employment, and community integration. This includes creating Virtual Community Resource Maps and teaching the use of enabling technology to foster independence.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and be at least 21 years old. A valid Tennessee Driver's License with an F endorsement, auto insurance, and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Summary:
The MAPS Lead’s job function is to set individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on a path to learn skills to help them work, live independently, learn about their neighborhoods, and find hobbies that interest them. This staff will help the individual access tools, technology, and support they need to meet the goals they set for themselves.
