The engineer will manage the planning, design, and construction of wetland and habitat restoration projects while collaborating with biologists and local partners. Responsibilities include preparing proposals, conducting field surveys, overseeing contractors, and ensuring project compliance with budgets and specifications.
Candidates must hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an ABET-accredited program. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and construction is preferred.

Ducks Unlimited (DU) Minnesota has an opening for a Full-Time Engineer or Construction Manager in the Garfield, MN office or Remote (preferred in Southwest MN). The successful applicant will join a highly motivated conservation team of biologists and engineers who are responsible for the planning, design and construction of wetland restoration and enhancement projects. Primary responsibilities will be in Minnesota.
As a remote employee, you may be required to come in at any time, with reasonable notice, into a DU office (or other designated location) for meetings and other business needs.
DU Engineers operate similarly to a typical consulting agency. We perform a full range of project planning, design, contracting, and construction management functions on wetland, riparian, and associated habitat restoration projects. Project delivery responsibilities include scoping and proposal development, survey, engineering design, project bidding, field inspection, and occasional construction management. A close working relationship with local, state, and federal personnel, private landowners, and other conservation partners will be an important aspect of the job. The position will include occasional travel.

Benefits/Pay: Salary will be based on experience and education.
