The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing medication and medical care to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral health needs. This includes maintaining medical files and communicating with families and medical staff to support a therapeutic environment.
Candidates must be a licensed nurse in Florida with an Associate's degree or diploma, though a BSN is preferred. Additional requirements include being at least 21 years old, possessing a valid driver's license, and passing background and medical screenings.
Devereux Florida provides services to children and adolescents with significant emotional and behavioral health needs who live on-site while in treatment. Located in Viera, FL, this position is responsible for ensuring client care by providing medications, ensuring regular medical checkups, and keeping medical file updated, providing an open line of communication with clients’ family and medical staff (doctors, therapists, other nurses), and supporting a therapeutic environment, while ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we serve.
Salary: Starts at $32.00 - $37.30 / hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience)
