Your Mission

As a UX Designer, you’ll be instrumental in defining and delivering the user experience for innovative, end-to-end AI-powered solutions. You’ll take pride in crafting intuitive, user-centric designs that bridge the gap between complex AI capabilities and seamless human interaction.

You will be an advocate for design excellence and best practices, owning the design lifecycle from initial discovery and research to high-fidelity, production-ready interfaces. While this is a hands-on role, we are looking for someone who can lead design workshops, engage directly with clients to uncover requirements, and provide creative direction for AI-driven applications.

To be successful, you will need a strong track record in UX/UI design combined with a deep curiosity for how Generative AI impacts user behavior and interface patterns. You’ll be comfortable navigating ambiguity and ensuring that our AI-driven applications are as accessible as they are powerful.

What You’ll Do

• Leading Discovery: Drive the interpretation of complex business requirements into elegant design strategies that leverage AI to solve real-world problems.

• End-to-End Design: Own the creation and maintenance of design systems, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that transform complex data into simple, impactful user experiences.

• Workshop Facilitation: Lead client-facing discovery workshops and design sprints to align stakeholders and validate product concepts.

• User Research & Testing: Plan and execute user research and usability testing to iterate on designs based on real-world feedback and performance data.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Architects to ensure design concepts are technically feasible and aligned with Google Cloud’s capabilities.

• Design for Production: Deliver meticulous, production-ready assets and documentation, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure high-fidelity implementation.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing successful end-to-end delivery of complex web applications.

• Design Mastery: Expert proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, and experience building or maintaining scalable design systems.

• Technical Literacy: A solid understanding of HTML/CSS and how modern frameworks (React, Vue.js) impact design, enabling you to speak the same language as our developers.

• Research Skills: Strong experience in qualitative and quantitative user research methods, information architecture, and rapid prototyping.

• Stakeholder Management: The ability to confidently present design decisions to both technical teams and C-suite clients, effectively advocating for the user.

• AI Curiosity: A passion for staying at the forefront of AI/ML trends and a desire to design interfaces that make these technologies human-centric.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Hands-on experience designing for Machine Learning or Generative AI products.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or data-heavy enterprise environments.

• Experience working in a fast-paced scale-up or consultancy environment.
