Senior Management Consultant - help solve complex challenges that matter.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Management Consultant to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to work directly with senior clients on some of the most important and complex challenges facing the UK today, while helping to shape the future of a rapidly growing consultancy. You will help shape the future of UK Defence, national security, and public sector transformation.

What you'll do:
• Lead and support high-impact consulting engagements across strategy, transformation, change, and delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with senior military, government, and industry stakeholders.
• Structure complex problems, develop practical recommendations, and help clients turn ambition into action.
• Facilitate workshops, present findings, and influence decision-making at senior levels.
• Contribute to business development, thought leadership, and the continued growth of Darter.

Requirements
We are interested in people who can bring:
• Consulting experience within Defence, Government, National Security, or similarly complex environments.
• Ability to hold, or obtain, UK Security Clearance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to see the bigger picture.
It would be great if you also have:
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Experience leading workstreams or managing client relationships.
• An engaging and collaborative approach with colleagues and clients.
You will need to hold, or be able to obtain, UK Security Clearance for this role.
Note - Darter is a remote first organisation with an office in Reading and clients around England. Expect a hybrid working style with travel every week.
