Full job description
Who We Are
CreateFuture is a Version 1 company and AI-native consulting partner where people do work that matters and are supported to do it well. We work alongside organisations such as PayPal, adidas, NatWest, FanDuel and Money Saving Expert, building digital products and services that make a difference while always putting people first.
We’re a team of creators. We write code, shape delivery, build go-to-market strategies, develop AI solutions and create the practices that support our people. We work side by side with our clients, challenging what’s not working and helping them to build the future. Our commitment to craft, quality, and culture has helped us scale to over 600 people in just a few years.
Join us on our journey. Let’s create tomorrow, together, today.
The Role
CreateFuture are looking for a collaborative and pragmatic Principal Product Manager to join our growing team and help us define and develop an exciting array of products over a variety of industries, technologies and domains.
Our Product Managers are responsible for working with senior leadership, our internal design and engineering teams and our clients to help define and implement product strategies that are consistent with our clients’ vision. This can be from early stage research and market analysis through to development, delivery and iteration.
As we rapidly scale, we’ve identified an exciting opportunity for a Principal Product Manager to help support our growth.
This person will be responsible for shaping and leading client engagements. We have a variety of clients across many industries all of whom look to us to provide leadership and guidance.
You will rapidly gain their trust and guide them toward a valuable customer focused outcome. To do this you’ll use your deep understanding of product management methodologies and a consistent application of good practice.
You will also be responsible for the wellbeing of a team of product managers. You will help embed good practice and coach your team in client management techniques and the application of product management.
Does this sound like you? Do you have experience in developing Product Managers and a passion for the craft of Product Management? Do you have an empathetic leadership style with a focus on coaching each person to help grow their career and skills? If so, we’ve got a great role for you to stretch your wings and see what you’re really capable of.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting into the Head of Product Operations and be able to represent the team as we grow
Leading a team of Product Managers and support recruitment
Helping embed and support career progression pathways using our development framework for personal growth
Providing support to the team through mentorship and coaching
Acting as an escalation point for the team, helping to remove internal and external blockers as needed
Supporting resourcing of Product Managers on projects
Identifying training and development needs
Lead clients through their digital transformation journey, ensuring long term lasting relationships are made with key decision-makers
Working with the team to improve, shape and structure the Product Management ways of working
About you
Passionate about Product Management as a discipline and keen to keep up to date on emerging trends, as well as experimenting with new tools and techniques
Recent relevant experience of leading product focused engagements
Knowledge and experience of Product Management frameworks and approaches for continuous discovery and delivery
Have experience of product research and collecting evidence to support value propositions
Experience working within a digital transformation and AI consultancy, delivering technology solutions to enterprise clients.
Practical experience applying AI to products, services or delivery, with a good understanding of how AI can create value for clients.
Experience mentoring, coaching and developing Product Managers and supporting the growth of product capability.
Have experience of using data to help drive decisions and steer the direction of the product towards the client’s north star
Knowledge of web and mobile technologies and practices
Experience leading or supportingclient discovery, workshops and product strategy, translating business needs into digital solutions.
Be comfortable with ambiguity and help provide clarity in all situations
What we’ll offer you:
We trust people to do their best work. That means flexibility over rigid rules, impact over activity, and real investment in your growth both professionally and personally. You’ll be part of a supportive, and friendly culture, surrounded by smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do.
We offer flexible working, including hybrid and remote options. Our office hubs are located in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, London and Bulgaria, with occasional travel to client sites or CreateFuture offices when needed.
We trust you to manage your time balancing collaboration with client time and focused work. What matters is the impact you have, not how busy you look.
Our hiring process
We try to keep our hiring process clear, fair and respectful of your time. We aim to get back to everyone who applies and we will be upfront about where you are in the process.
It usually looks like this:
Call with our Talent Acquisition Team
Role specific capability interview
Depending on the role, we might also ask you to do a short presentation, a practical or technical task or have a values focused conversation. We will explain what is involved before anything happens.
Inclusion at CreateFuture
We believe diverse teams build better workplaces and better products. We want CreateFuture to be a place where people feel able to be themselves and do their best work.
If you need any adjustments or support during the application process, just. We will do what we can to help.
