Full job description

Our Story & Impact

At CQ fluency, we believe language access is healthcare.

For more than two decades, we’ve partnered with leading healthcare and life sciences organizations to make communication clear, culturally relevant, and compliant. We bring healthcare communications to life.

We combine Cultural Intelligence (CQ) with advanced language technology and AI to enable understanding that drives outcomes — improving member experience, advancing health literacy, and strengthening trust between people and the systems that serve them.

As a minority-owned strategic partner, CQ fluency delivers culturally relevant solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Recognized on the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies list consecutively for over a decade, we continue to redefine what’s possible when innovation, empathy, and excellence intersect.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Seasonal Localization Quality Associate - LQA to support CQ fluency’s linguistic quality assurance activities across localization projects and accounts. This is an entry-level role within the linguistic quality career track, focused on hands-on execution and coordination of quality activities, support for linguists and Project Managers, and consistent application of client quality requirements.

You will work closely with Project Managers, linguists, and quality team members to ensure quality standards are executed accurately and efficiently across day-to-day operations.

This is a seasonal position with a contract duration of 4+ months and requires availability to work in alignment with a 9 am to 5 pm US EST schedule.

Your Impact

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of LQA tasks
  • Contribute to project planning and support the resolution of linguistic quality issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identifying, documenting, and escalating linguistic issues, inconsistencies, and potential quality risks to Quality Managers
  • Ensure that quality-related updates and stakeholder feedback are accurately implemented across account assets and reference materials
  • Organize and actively participate in linguistic and project-related meetings as required

Linguistic Assets Management

  • Support terminology management activities, including creation, population, validation, maintenance, and ongoing updates
  • Ensure the consistent application of approved terminology, style guides, and linguistic preferences across all projects by relevant stakeholders
  • Perform translation memory (TM) management tasks, including alignment, updates, cleanup, and optimization to maintain asset quality
  • Coordinate with MT teams the execution of TM cleanup and optimization activities to support engine training and performance improvement
  • Manage and track linguistic queries from multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution, clear communication, and proper documentation

Customer Feedback Processing

  • Coordinate and execute third-party linguistic reviews and LQA exchanges under defined methodologies
  • Coordinate review scope, materials, and timelines with internal teams and external reviewers
  • Compile, analyze, and report findings from third-party reviews and linguistic assessments
  • Support follow-up actions and corrective steps based on review outcomes

Resource Support

  • Support resource testing and linguist evaluation activities under guidance
  • Assist with linguist onboarding and training on quality standards, tools, and client requirements
