The selected linguist will provide simultaneous and consecutive Spanish-English interpretation, translation, and transcription for federal criminal investigations and legal proceedings. They are responsible for maintaining accurate case records, protecting sensitive information, and ensuring linguistic accuracy across various legal documents and audio recordings.
Applicants must hold a current Spanish-English Federal Court Interpreter Certification and possess native or near-native fluency in both languages. Candidates must demonstrate extensive experience in legal interpretation, translation, and transcription, along with the ability to obtain federal security clearances.
