The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive end-of-life care strategies for patients and their families. This includes managing pain and symptoms, supervising LPNs and CENAs, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure a peaceful death.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in nursing, a Michigan RN license, and at least one year of relevant experience, preferably in hospice. CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire.

An outcome based plan of care is created and continually adjusted through utilization of the nursing process, relationship centered care principles, and holistic philosophy, assuring that the changing needs of the patient/family are met while facilitating a pain-free, peaceful, sacred death.
