Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 Beaumont doctors on faculty.
Scope of Work
Assists Physical Therapist in treatment of patients by implementing an established treatment plan, progressing patient through the therapeutic plan, communicating with internal and external contacts regarding treatment, and documenting treatments, all under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Under the supervision of a PT, implements treatment and discharge plans.
Qualifications
Required Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
Rehab, acute care experience Preferred
LIC-Physical Therapist Assistant - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
