Support plant sanitation by using chemicals and equipment to clean production machinery in compliance with SSOPs and USDA guidelines. Maintain low bacteria counts and report unsafe equipment to the leadership team.
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs, work at heights up to 30 feet, and hold a Lock out/Tag out certification. Requires the ability to work in extreme temperatures and follow strict safety and PPE protocols.
Position Summary: You will support plant sanitation in the use of chemicals, cleaning processes, sanitation equipment, disassembles and cleans equipment to comply with regulatory aspects of Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and USDA guidelines. Eliminate sources of contamination, maintain low bacteria count and report damaged or unsafe equipment. Requires understanding multiple chemicals and sanitation procedures in food safety. You will report to the sanitation leadership team.
