Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program or have three years of related professional nursing experience. A valid Indiana Registered Nurse license is required, with preference given to those with prior PACU, ED, or ICU experience.

Community Hospital East has an opportunity available in Pre-op/PACU. The Pre-op/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) will be part of a professional surgical team responsible for pre-op/PACU care. Will collaborate with all members of the surgical care team to provide exceptional care and compassion to our patient population and the families we serve. This RN will possess strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills. Will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task. Will be able to take direction well but also be self-directed and motivated. Will possess a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness.
