The Academic Advisor supports and guides scholars through their academic journeys by providing individualized plans and facilitating workshops. They are responsible for managing a caseload of 120 students, tracking academic progress, and building trusting relationships to ensure college matriculation.
Candidates must have academic advising experience within a college-access institution and proficiency in analyzing student data for targeted interventions. Strong interpersonal skills and familiarity with Learning Management Systems and grade portals are required for this role.

You’ll collaborate with your peer Academic Advisor and the site team to deliver engaging content, facilitate workshops, and host one-on-one advising appointments.Day to day, you will:

Compensation: This position is Full-Time, non-exempt. The full hourly range for Academic Advisor in Watts, CA is $29.01-$34.86/hour with the exact compensation depending on experience. As someone new to this role at College Track, you can expect an offer between $30.53- $31.97/hour to ensure internal equity while leaving room for compensation growth during your time with us.
