The System and Test Engineer will perform system integration of electronic and mechanical components, including firmware installation and hardware-near laboratory testing. They will also be responsible for creating test specifications, technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve hardware and software issues.
Candidates must hold a degree in a scientific or technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, or Embedded Engineering. Strong technical understanding of electronic circuits and experience in system integration or hardware/software testing are required.

Systemintegration elektronischer und mechanischer Komponenten, Firmware-Installationen sowie Inbetriebnahme und Test von Komponenten und des Gesamtsystems
Toolgestützte Durchführung von hardwarenahen Labor-, Integrations- und Systemtests zur Verifizierung der Interaktion der Hardware- und Softwarekomponenten
Test von Firmware Releases an Lasersystem-Prototypen mit realer Hardware oder an Simulationen/Mocks (explorative Tests sowie Verifizierungen)
Untersuchungen, Messungen und Analysen bei Firmware-, Software- oder Hardware-Problemen
Betreuung und Aussteuerung von externen Programmierern sowie enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Experten in den Bereichen System Engineering, Elektronik, Konstruktion, CAN, Usability, Front-End Applikation
Erstellung und Review von Test-Spezifikationen
Erstellung von technischer Dokumentation nach Prozessvorgaben aus dem regulierten Umfeld
Erstellung funktionaler Anforderungen für medizinische Geräte
Abgeschlossenes naturwissenschaftliches oder technisches Studium (Elektrotechnik, Medizintechnik, Mikroelektronik, System- / Embedded Engineering oder ähnliches)
Sehr gutes technisches Verständnis, insbesondere für elektronische Schaltungen
Begeisterung für Systemintegration und dem Zusammenspiel von Hardware und Software
Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
