The Youth Worker provides direct classroom support and academic assistance to students in the COMPASS NYC program. Responsibilities include executing lesson plans, tracking student progress, and maintaining the cleanliness of the after-school program space.
Candidates must be high school or college students with at least one year of experience working with elementary school-aged children. Strong communication skills and a commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities Community Services are required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are generally 3:00 PM to 6 PM Monday – Friday during the academic year. Additional hours may be required to meet program deadlines or client needs.
