The Machinist IV is responsible for setting up and operating conventional and CNC machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. This role also involves training and mentoring other machinists while ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to safety standards.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience and/or training, along with a Journeyman Machinist, Millwright, or Red Seal certification. Proficiency in reading blueprints and operating CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Okuma OSP is required.

The Machinist IV role is responsible for setting up and operating conventional, special purpose, numerical control machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. The Machinist IV is a subject matter expert of all machining equipment. This individual will be responsible for training, mentoring and assessing other machinists while exhibiting the highest level of execution and behavior expected of SPM Oil & Gas employees. The Machinist will be operating a Nomura model hba-135p- r5.
