Maintain vigilant fire watch coverage and conduct regular patrols of all floors and stairwells to ensure fire safety compliance. Monitor for hazards, maintain FDNY-compliant logs, and support emergency evacuation procedures.
Candidates must hold or obtain an FDNY F-01 Certificate of Fitness and have 1-3 years of experience in fire watch, security, or building maintenance. Physical ability to patrol a five-story building and strong communication skills are required.

The Opportunity:
As a Fire Watch Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in a two-person team ensuring fire safety compliance at a NYC Aging-owned building. Your primary responsibility: maintain vigilant fire watch coverage until the building’s alarm system is restored. You’ll embody CBN’s core values—accountability, kindness, teamwork, and integrity—while helping ensure a safe environment for our community.
