The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for preparing materials and inputs for routine microbiology tests on raw materials and final products. They also manage the cleaning, disinfection, and verification of laboratory instruments and areas while ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
Requires a high school diploma or technical degree in Food, Quality, Chemistry, Laboratory, or Biotechnology. A minimum of one year of related experience as a Laboratory Assistant and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.

Este puesto está dentro del negocio de proteína y sal de Cargill, con el que proveemos productos alimenticios saludables de alta calidad a una amplia gama de clientes, desde operadores de servicios de alimentos y tiendas de comestibles hasta fabricantes y exportadores.
El(a) Auxiliar de Laboratorio, completará el pre-alistamiento de materiales e insumos requeridos para llevar las pruebas rutinarias en el laboratorio de Microbiología en apoyo del equipo técnico. Estamos buscando una persona trabajadora que realice las tareas rutinarias del área, siendo responsables de comprobar y monitorear el rendimiento de la instrumentación y realizar pruebas para las que vamos a proporcionar supervisión intermedia. En este rol, tendrá a cargo los procesos de limpieza y desinfección de las áreas del laboratorio.
•Realizar alistamiento de materiales e insumos requeridos en las pruebas rutinarias de laboratorio en materias primas, en proceso y productos finales de forma independiente, apoyando ensayos y experimentos más complejos bajo supervisión intermedia.
•Garantizar los programas de cumplimiento para todas las pruebas individuales, lo que incluye el monitoreo del cumplimiento de las regulaciones y otros requisitos de normativas del Laboratorio (ISO 17025).
•Realizar las tareas de limpieza y desinfección relacionadas con los equipos, instrumentos y áreas del laboratorio.
•Ejecutar comprobaciones y verificaciones de los instrumentos del laboratorio y llevar los registros de estos.
•Gestionar las buenas prácticas del laboratorio (BPL) y las normativas relacionadas (ISO 17025, ISO9001).
•Manejar problemas administrativos, técnicos o de atención al cliente moderadamente complejos bajo supervisión general, al tiempo que aumenta los problemas más complejos para el personal adecuado.
•Otros deberes asignados.

•Mínimo de un año de experiencia laboral relacionada como Auxiliar de Laboratorio
•Experiencia en Microsoft Office.
Calificaciones Preferidas:
•Capacidad para leer e interpretar documentos (reglas de seguridad, instrucciones de funcionamiento y mantenimiento, y manuales de procedimientos).
•Conocimiento básico de las normas ISO 17025 y ISO 9001.
