The Assistant Director of Social Services oversees the daily operations of the social services department, including staff supervision and the development of comprehensive support programs for residents. They act as a liaison between residents, families, and outside agencies while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or a human services field and possess a CSW or LSW license. A minimum of 3 years of social work experience is required, with preference given to those with a background in long-term care or skilled nursing.

The Assistant Director of Social Services is responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the Social Service department. The Assistant Director of Social Services will abide by and practice according to the company's Social Service Policies and Procedures Manual, State and Federal guidelines and the National Association of Social Workers' "Code of Ethics". Social Service functions include but are not limited to: supervising social service staff, direct services, advocacy, counseling, service coordination, education, in-servicing, policy and program development and community relations.
