Support the localization of passenger car portfolios in Türkiye by analyzing market trends, policies, and competitor behavior. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert stakeholder demands into product implementations and support local launch activities.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automotive) and at least 3 years of experience in product management or engineering. Fluency in English and a strong passion for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and sustainability are mandatory.
As the Product Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support the product localization of our passenger car portfolio in the markets. You will work closely with the product, sales, marketing, and R&D teams in Europe and China, to facilitate the localization process. You will play an integral role in gathering and analyzing market trends, policy changes, competitor tendencies, and user or partner expectations.
You will be part of the European Product Department, focusing on market, customer, policy, regulation research, and competitor analysis. We aim to develop a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with our vision and goals. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth product launches and successful deployment.
You will support in product localization projects in Türkiye. This will involve assisting in identifying market requirements and uncovering consumer insights to help develop products and product strategies that meet the needs of our target audience.
Support in managing product demands from various stakeholders, including user groups, dealers, and local authorities or associations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, business planning, and marketing, to help convert these demands into product implementations aligned with our product strategy.
Support local product campaigns, such as test-drive events and customer clinics, to refine our product proposition and raise awareness of our products among potential customers.
Ensure that the aligns with local business expansions and has the necessary skills and resources to support our product localization efforts in Türkiye.
Work with the product marketing team to provide local market analysis, consumer analysis, and competitor benchmarking, providing valuable insights that will help us develop effective marketing strategies for our products.
Support other local activities, such as compliance tests and product training, at the early stage of (pre-) launches of new passenger car models in Türkiye. By doing so, you will help ensure that our products meet all relevant regulatory frameworks and business requirements.
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical / Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
3 years of experience in product management, product engineering or related industry, a proficiency in project management is a plus.
Oral and written fluency in English is mandatory.
Strong data collection and analytical skills, with the ability to extract and present critical insights. (experience with Power BI and/or data visualization is a big plus)
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across all technical teams and disciplines.
Disciplined, fact-based, and rational approach to problem-solving.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
