The Spare Parts Specialist manages inventory levels and ensures the availability of parts for the European market while maintaining contact with dealers and suppliers. They are responsible for processing orders, managing pricing, and coordinating upgrading projects between China and Europe.
Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree and possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support, administration, or logistics. Proficiency in English and advanced Excel skills are required, with Chinese language skills considered a strong plus.
About the Role
The Spare Parts Specialist (Passenger Cars) is responsible for providing adequate service to our customers and Service Providers in order to maximize customer satisfaction. This includes ensuring best-in-class availability of parts for the European Market whilst managing inventory levels and stock turnover.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily contact with Dealers and Service providers.
Support dealers and service providers by providing information regarding spare parts specifications, availability and lead times.
Manage pricing.
Maintain and improve the spare parts catalogues.
Maintain contact with European suppliers.
Maintain spare parts stock level to meet customer requirements and service level.
Process spare parts orders in the online parts ordering system.
Coordinate upgrading projects between BYD A/S China and Europe.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Working and thinking level, acquired by education or work experience.
At least 3 years of working experience in a technical support, administration or logistics environment.
Fluent in English. Chinese language skills are considered a strong plus.
A strong customer service & business focus.
Problem-solving skills, especially in supply chain related challenges.
Systems skills: Advanced Excel knowledge. ERP, CRM, MS Office, logistics process management and project management experience.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication and analytical thinking skills.
