An environmental engineer in an automotive factory is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and reducing environmental impact. They support compliance with Hungarian and European Union requirements and assist in the operation of environmental management systems. They participate in permitting processes and coordinate waste and hazardous material management. Their responsibilities also include monitoring air, water, and noise emissions, as well as managing environmental risks. In addition, they support sustainable operations, organize audits, and coordinate improvement measures.
A környezetmérnök feladata egy autógyárban a környezetvédelmi jogszabályok betartásának biztosítása és a környezeti terhelés csökkentése. Felel a magyar és európai uniós előírásoknak való megfelelés támogatásáért, valamint a környezetirányítási rendszerek működtetéséért. Részt vesz az engedélyeztetési folyamatokban, továbbá a hulladék- és veszélyesanyag-kezelés koordinálásában. Feladata a levegő-, víz- és zajkibocsátások ellenőrzése, valamint a környezeti kockázatok kezelése is. Emellett támogatja a fenntartható működést, auditokat szervez, és fejlesztési intézkedéseket koordinál.
- Ensure the company operates in compliance with applicable environmental and environmental safety regulations; identify, document, and report environmental risks and non-conformities in a timely manner.
- Establish, maintain, and implement BYD environmental management systems in line with national and Europian (such as ISO 14001 requirements; prepare environmental documentation e.g. IPPC, EIA, permits).
- Plan, organize, and document environmental training and develop training materials to improve environmental awareness.
- Organize and support environmental audits and authority inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure employees, contractors, and suppliers understand applicable environmental regulations; verify contractor permits and supervise their activities.
- Identify environmental non-conformities in daily operations and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure BYD’s waste management system complies with Hungarian, EU, and internal requirements.
- Fulfill waste management obligations (collection area inspections, record keeping, reporting, site inspections, regulatory data submission).
- Manage air protection tasks (operation log checks, sampling coordination, liaison with laboratories, submission of reports, permits, annual reports, VOC balance, etc.).
- Manage water protection tasks (permits, operation log checks, sampling coordination, report retention and submission).
- Managing and coordinating soil protection tasks (including coordination of sampling activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, etc.).
- Maintaining communication with local authorities, contractors, and companies.
- Perform other environmental protection tasks assigned by the supervisor.

- Annak biztosítása, hogy a munkavállalók, alvállalkozók és beszállítók ismerjék az alkalmazandó környezetvédelmi előírásokat; az alvállalkozói engedélyek ellenőrzése és tevékenységük felügyelete.
- A napi működés során felmerülő környezetvédelmi nemmegfelelőségek azonosítása, valamint helyesbítő és megelőző intézkedések javaslata.
- A BYD hulladékgazdálkodási rendszerének megfelelőségének biztosítása a magyar, európai uniós és belső előírások szerint.
- Hulladékgazdálkodási kötelezettségek teljesítése (gyűjtőhelyek ellenőrzése, nyilvántartás vezetése, jelentések készítése, telephelyi ellenőrzések, hatósági adatszolgáltatás).
- Levegőtisztaság-védelmi feladatok ellátása (üzemnaplók ellenőrzése, mintavételek koordinálása, kapcsolattartás laboratóriumokkal, jelentések, engedélyek, éves beszámolók, VOC mérleg stb. kezelése).
- Vízvédelmi feladatok ellátása (engedélyek kezelése, üzemnaplók ellenőrzése, mintavételek koordinálása, jelentések megőrzése és benyújtása).
- Talajvédelmi feladatok ellátása, koordinálása ( mintavételezések koordinálása, előírások teljesítettetése stb. )
- Kapcsolattartás a helyi hatóságokkal, vállalkozókkal, cégekkel
- Egyéb, vezető által kijelölt környezetvédelmi feladatok ellátása.
At least 2 years in industrial environmental management (preferably in EU countries);
Minimum 2 év gyártói környezetben szerzett tapasztalat ( előnyben részesített az Európai környezet)；
