Responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and monitoring of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at the Music Hall at Fair Park. Duties include event set-up, facility security tasks, and coordinating with outside vendors for specialized repairs.
Requires a high school diploma, a valid Class C Texas driver's license, and at least one year of experience with basic hand and power tools. Candidates must be available for extended night and weekend shifts and be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Schedule: Weekday shifts range from 7:00am-5:00pm, with significant overnight/early morning and weekend work required based on programming
Location: On-site in the Music Hall at Fair Park. No remote work anticipated.

Position Summary:
Join a maintenance team of a half-dozen expert, skillful and helpful supervisors and technicians dedicated to the smooth operation and careful maintenance of the century-old historic Music Hall at Fair Park. Each year, the venue hosts hundreds of touring Broadway, concerts, and other live performance events attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors, artists, support crew, and administrative personnel. You would be responsible for various maintenance and repair duties, mechanical/electrical/plumbing monitoring, event set-up, as well as limited building security tasks in coordination with designated security staff members/vendors.
This position requires regular on-site work in and around the Music Hall at Fair Park based on event schedules. Familiarity with Fair Park and its surrounding neighborhoods is strongly preferred.
