The Lead Production Specialist performs hands-on production work while directing a team of print, laminating, and cutting operators. They are responsible for assigning daily tasks, monitoring quality and productivity, and ensuring safety compliance on the floor.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in a production manufacturing environment. Proficiency in printing, laminating, and cutting operations is required.
Job Summary
The Working Lead performs hands-on production work on the line while also directing and supporting a team of print, laminating, and cutting operators. This role acts as the first point of leadership on the floor — assigning daily work, monitoring quality and productivity, enforcing safety and company policy, and keeping small issues from becoming big ones. The Working Lead is a working member of the crew, and is expected to model the pace, quality, and attitude the team should follow. The ideal candidate will have at experience in printing, laminating, cutting and must have at least 3 years of any leadership experience.
