The engineer is responsible for maintaining computing environments by identifying network requirements, installing upgrades, and managing configuration consistency. They will design and implement solutions for various network architectures including LAN, WAN, and intranets.
Candidates should have three years of experience in networking or IT and hold a CompTIA Security+ CE certification or IAT Level II qualification. A current Top Secret security clearance and US citizenship are mandatory requirements.
Bowhead is seeking a Systems/Network Engineer in Dahlgren, VA. The Systems/Network Engineer is responsible for maintaining multiple computing environments by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance, and managing network configuration consistency. The Systems/Network Engineer will provide engineering, design, and implementation solutions for multiple network architectures.
Physical Demands:
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for this contract.
