You will develop a digital twin for a humanoid robot by configuring physics and sensors within a simulation environment like NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Gazebo. Additionally, you will implement a ROS bridge to enable software control and validate the system using benchmark manipulation tasks.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master's program in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field. Proficiency in Python and Torch, experience with Linux, and familiarity with C++ or ROS are required.

Digital twins — high-fidelity virtual replicas of physical systems — are essential for accelerating modern robotics research, allowing for rapid and safe testing of complex algorithms. The goal of this project is to build a realistic simulation environment for our humanoid robot, creating a "digital twin" for advanced development.
